What we check (06)

SPF sender depth

One valid policy, recursive DNS lookup load, and whether unauthorised mail meets ~all or -all.

DKIM signatures

Common selectors including Google, default, k1-k3, selector1/2, Mandrill, Postmark and Zoho.

DMARC enforcement

Policy strength from monitoring to reject, subdomain handling, percentage and aggregate reporting.

Mail routing

MX presence and a practical provider fingerprint for Google, Microsoft, Zoho and common hosts.

Public blocklists

Best-effort checks of domain and MX IPv4 addresses. Refused resolver answers stay unknown, never clean or listed.

BIMI identity

Presence of the optional brand-logo record after authentication is ready for it.

No fake certainty

DNS is the foundation, not the whole inbox.

Public records can prove routing and authentication gaps. They cannot see complaint rate, list quality, sending volume, warm-up history, content, or a mailbox provider's private reputation score. The report labels those limits instead of pretending to predict inbox placement.
