Pricing Pages and Package Presentation

Present UAE pricing and packages that convert: clear AED ranges, three honest tiers, VAT notes, mobile cards, and WhatsApp for custom quotes.

Hidden pricing feels sophisticated to sellers and suspicious to buyers. In many UAE categories — home services, clinics, SaaS for SMEs, salons, cleaning, photography — clear AED ranges or packages raise enquiry quality and volume at the same time.

This guide covers pricing page structure, package psychology, VAT communication, and when “contact us” is still correct.

When to show price (and when not to)

Show price or ranges when:

  • Buyers can self-qualify (residential cleaning, standard dental whitening, basic websites, salon menus)
  • Competitors already show numbers
  • Your sales cycle is short
  • Ad creatives mention price or discounts

Use guided quote when:

  • Scope varies wildly (fit-out, custom software, legal retainers)
  • Enterprise procurement
  • Outcomes depend on inspection

Even then, show worked examples or “projects like yours often land between AED X–Y” so strangers are not guessing in the dark. Mystery pricing does not make you luxury; proof and delivery make you luxury.

Package architecture that works

Classic three-tier (Good / Better / Best) still works if tiers are real:

ElementGuidance
NamesOutcome-based (“Apartment,” “Villa,” “Commercial”) not only “Silver/Gold”
AnchorMiddle tier as recommended if that is truly the best fit for most
Differentiator3–6 inclusion lines, not 40-feature walls
CTAEach tier gets a CTA — WhatsApp with prefilled package name helps
DecoysDo not invent a useless tier just to force middle choice

For services, packages must map to delivery capacity. Do not sell “priority same-day” if the roster cannot fulfil on DSF weekends. Ops owns pricing integrity as much as marketing does.

AED presentation details

  • Use AED consistently (pick a symbol style and stick to it)
  • Clarify VAT inclusive vs exclusive — invoice surprises create chargebacks and one-star reviews
  • “From AED X” must state what drives the floor (size, material, time of day)
  • Show visit fees, parking, materials separately if often extra
  • Monthly retainers: show billing period, notice period, and what happens on pause
  • For ecommerce, sale prices need honest reference prices — fake strikethroughs erode trust

If you advertise “from AED 99” on Meta, the page must not only list AED 499 packages with no path to 99.

Layout patterns

Desktop: comparison tables can work when columns are few. Mobile: stacked cards with sticky “WhatsApp this package” often beat wide tables with horizontal scroll hell.

Each card should include:

  1. Package name
  2. Price / range
  3. Who it is for (one line)
  4. Inclusions
  5. Explicit exclusions or “not included”
  6. CTA
  7. Short caveats

Put FAQs under the grid: payment plans, Tabby availability for eligible offers, rescheduling, quote validity windows, and whether prices differ by emirate or community access rules.

Anchoring and premium positioning without cringe

You can sit premium if proof supports it: senior practitioners, materials grade, warranty length, response SLA, portfolio density in DIFC towers, DHA credentials, and so on. Do not only raise prices and add gold gradients.

Bundles raise AOV when they save the customer a second visit or a second purchase decision (“AC service + filter set”). Pushy add-ons at checkout that block the pay button are not packaging skill.

Handling custom and hybrid models

Many Dubai businesses are hybrid: menu prices for standard work, custom for the rest. Design the page that way:

  • Section A: standard packages with AED
  • Section B: custom projects with process + examples + CTA to site survey
  • Section C: commercial / facilities with “request proposal”

Sales scripts should match the page. If the website says free survey and the technician demands AED 150 cash on arrival, you did not build trust — you built a complaint.

Illustrative scenario — salon packages, JLT

Before: “Contact for price” on all treatments; Instagram DMs chaotic; no-shows after long quote threads.

After: Public menu for common services (cut ranges by hair length, colour “from,” keratin packages). Custom bridal remains consult-only with a clear deposit rule. WhatsApp prefill includes package name and preferred day.

Result pattern: fewer tire-kickers asking basic prices, more booked slots, and staff time shifting from quoting wash-and-blow-dry to managing high-value bridal calendars.

Pricing pages for B2B and free-zone services

Buyers still want orientation even when final numbers are scoped:

  • Starter monthly fee ranges
  • Implementation / onboarding fees
  • What is out of scope
  • Contract length and notice
  • Invoice and VAT readiness

CTA options: “Book a 15-minute fit call,” “WhatsApp your fleet size,” or a short form. Attach a one-page PDF only if sales will use it. A 12-page pricing PDF as the only path is how you lose mobile founders.

Experiments worth running

  1. Three packages vs a single “from” price
  2. VAT-inclusive display vs exclusive + note
  3. Monthly vs annual toggle for retainers
  4. Recommended badge on middle tier on/off
  5. Price on fold vs price after proof sections
  6. “WhatsApp this package” vs generic “Get quote”

Measure qualified close rate and average order value, not only CTR to the pricing URL. Ultra-cheap packages can flood you with junk if you do not state constraints (areas, minimums, hours).

Ethical and operational hygiene

  • No bait prices ops refuse
  • No perpetual “48-hour discount” timers that reset on refresh
  • Clear if prices differ by emirate, building access, or after-hours
  • Medical/financial claims stay within what you can defend
  • Update Arabic and English prices the same day

Wireframe you can ship this week

  1. H1: “Transparent AED packages for [service] in Dubai”
  2. Sub: who it is for + how quoting works for custom jobs
  3. Package cards
  4. “What affects price” explainer
  5. Proof row (reviews, photos)
  6. FAQ
  7. Custom project CTA band
  8. Sticky mobile WhatsApp

Key takeaways

  • Show ranges or packages when buyers can self-qualify; use examples even for custom work.
  • Three honest tiers with clear inclusions beat vague premium theatre.
  • State VAT, fees, and “from” logic to prevent invoice rage.
  • Mobile cards plus WhatsApp prefills outperform clumsy tables alone.
  • Align published prices with what staff actually charge — every day, both languages.
