Social Media Agency UAE

Social Media Agency UAE with Shabang — UAE marketing consultancy covering strategy, creative, and performance.

Social Media Agency for the UAE

A national social programme has one central design decision: one account for the whole UAE, or accounts per emirate or per branch. Get it wrong and you either speak to nobody in particular or you fragment your audience across five under-fed feeds.

The account architecture question

One national account — right for most brands. Concentrates audience and engagement, one production pipeline, one voice. Localise through content, not through separate handles.

Per-emirate accounts — justified only when the offers genuinely differ, the branches are large enough to sustain their own content, and someone owns the governance. Usually they are not, and within six months three of them are dormant, which reads worse than never having created them.

Per-brand within a group — yes, where the brands are distinct to customers.

Language

The UAE's social audience is not one audience. Broadly:

  • English-first for expat-professional and international-facing segments
  • Arabic-first for Emirati, GCC-national and much of the family-household segment
  • Both, as separate content, where the customer base is genuinely mixed

Dual-caption posts are a compromise that satisfies neither. Where budget allows, produce separately.

Platform mix across the country

Instagram and TikTok carry consumer. LinkedIn carries B2B, and carries it better in Abu Dhabi than most people assume. Snapchat is materially stronger with Emirati and GCC audiences than the global data would suggest. X remains relevant for public-sector-adjacent conversation. YouTube is underused for the credibility content that long sales cycles need.

Production model

Centralise the system — templates, tone, brand rules, review process. Localise the inputs — branch photography, local offers, local hours, language weighting. This is the only model we have seen sustain quality across multiple emirates without either collapsing into head-office generic or fragmenting into branch chaos.

Measurement

Follower count is not a business metric. We report on saved and shared content, profile-to-enquiry rate, WhatsApp and DM conversations started, and the assisted contribution of social to leads that closed. Where paid amplification runs, cost per qualified conversation in AED.

FAQs

Should each branch have its own Instagram?

Usually no. Branch-level Google Business Profiles, yes — those are a different mechanism and they genuinely help local discovery.

Can one team cover Arabic and English properly?

Only if the team actually includes someone who writes Arabic. Otherwise you are producing English content and translating it, and Arabic-speaking audiences can tell.
