Web Design Abu Dhabi

Web Design Abu Dhabi with Shabang — UAE marketing consultancy covering strategy, creative, and performance.

Web Design in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi is not Dubai with different plates. The buyer is more institutional, the sales cycle is longer, the proportion of government-adjacent and enterprise work is far higher, and the things that build trust on a website are different because of it.

A site that wins in Abu Dhabi usually has to survive a procurement process, not just a scroll.

What is different about designing for this market

Credentials sit higher up the page. Trade licence, establishment card, ADGM or mainland status, ICV certification, years operating, named leadership. In Dubai you can often lead with the work. Here, a supplier who cannot immediately answer "who are you and are you real" gets filtered out early.

Arabic is not optional as often as people assume. Government, semi-government and a good deal of enterprise business expects a credible Arabic presence — not a machine-translated mirror. That means RTL layout that actually works, Arabic typography that is not an afterthought, and someone reviewing the copy who writes Arabic professionally.

The decision unit is a committee. Someone technical, someone commercial and someone who owns the budget will all look at the site, usually separately. Pages that answer only one of those three lose.

Mobile still decides. Even institutional buyers do their first pass on a phone between meetings. Everything above matters less than the site loading fast on a phone on a patchy connection.

What we build

LayerWhat it means here
StructureCapability pages a procurement reader can navigate, not a single scrolling brochure
ProofLicences, certifications, client sectors, project sheets, named team
BilingualGenuine Arabic version with correct lang, dir and hreflang — not a translate widget
SpeedCore Web Vitals that hold on 4G, because that is the real test
ConversionEnquiry forms that qualify, plus phone and WhatsApp for the buyers who prefer it
ComplianceAccessibility basics, privacy notice, data handling you can actually stand behind

Sectors we see most in the capital

Energy and industrial supply, construction and contracting, healthcare groups, education, logistics into KIZAD and Khalifa Port, professional services around ADGM, and the long tail of suppliers selling into government entities. Each has its own credibility signals. A contractor needs project sheets and safety record; a clinic needs practitioner credentials and DOH licensing visible; an ADGM fintech needs regulatory status stated plainly.

How the project runs

  1. Discovery — who buys, what they need to see, what currently blocks the enquiry
  2. Structure — sitemap and page briefs signed off before any design happens
  3. Design — desktop and mobile, English and Arabic, reviewed together not sequentially
  4. Build — fast, crawlable, editable by your team without calling us
  5. Content — written with your subject-matter people, not invented around them
  6. Launch — redirects mapped, analytics and Search Console live from day one
  7. After — measured against enquiries, not against how it looks

Typical timeline is eight to fourteen weeks depending on content readiness. Content readiness is almost always the thing that slips.

What it costs

Scope drives price: number of templates, whether Arabic is in scope, whether content exists, and whether you need integrations. We scope after a discovery conversation rather than publishing a package price that would be wrong for both the two-page consultancy and the forty-page contractor. What we will do is give you a range early, before you have spent anything.

Not a fit if

You want a template swapped and populated this month, you want us to write claims we cannot substantiate, or you want the cheapest possible build with no plan for who maintains it.

FAQs

Do you work with entities that require local presence or specific licensing?

We work as AX Technologies FZ-LLC and are used to supplier onboarding, vendor registration and procurement paperwork. Tell us the requirements early and we will tell you honestly whether we clear them.

Can you deliver the Arabic version properly?

Yes — written and reviewed by people who write Arabic professionally, with correct RTL implementation and hreflang. We will not ship a machine translation and call it bilingual.

Will we be able to edit it ourselves?

That is the goal. If you need a developer to change a phone number, the build failed.
